About The Game Squad™

The Game Squad™ roots go way back to the year 2003. Founder Zach Terflinger and many of his close friends would get together in his tiny living room and play system link matches on Ghost Recon. Equipped with Original XBOX’s, dinner trays and 13’ tv’s the guys would form a circle in the living room with network cables running to the hub in the center of the room. They would play until 2 or 3 am.

It wasn’t until 2 years later in 2005 that the decision was made to see if people would pay to enjoy multiplayer system link games like he did. Extreme Parties was formed. They would network Xboxes and play them on 6 foot projector screens in homes. This was wildly successful and continued until mid 2007. With business booming, the need to do more parties in a single day and to make life easier for all was becoming increasingly apparent. Soon party planning mom’s was increasing rapidly. There was a definite interest in the ease of a mobile video game party! The mobile gaming room concept was created and The Game Squad™ was born.

Being a gamer himself, Zach wanted to build an experience that gamers would love. The only way to do that would be to give each customer their own console and their own HDTV, housed in a huge, jaw dropping trailer. Split screens would not be acceptable. In addition, the games Guitar Hero and Rock Band were given their own space in the Rock Music room.

Since its inception, The Game Squad™ has delivered the best experience in gaming parties, as validated by all of our loyal fans and repeat customers. From birthday and bachelor parties to fund raising, carnivals and high school dances, The Game Squad™ will make any event a blast!

To top it all off, our culture is one that people love and are excited about the interaction with us! We are fun, our corporate staff persons are fun and we help make the party an experience that will never be forgotten. We don’t show up set up and take off, we are at the party with you, we cater to all of your needs during the party, and if you want us to join in on a round, or give instruction on gameplay and strategy to first timers, we absolutely welcome this. That’s the Game Squad™ Difference!

About Zach Terflinger

Zach has been a gamer since the Atari 2600. He has played on as many systems as he could get his hands on since then and has at one time owned at least one of every major console. His love for gaming, like many of his peers, has spanned a couple of decades. It was the XBOX that really took his love for gaming to new levels. Traditionally an RPG enthusiast the XBOX made it easy to foster the love of co-op and competitive play over a LAN. Online play was fun, but playing with his best buddies in the same room where they could yell and harass each other in person was a whole new level of gaming goodness.

This love for gaming and the camaraderie among his friends lead to the eventual creation of The Game Squad™. With the blessing of his wife, he has been doing gaming events since 2005. During that time he was able to leave his 18 year career with AT&T and begin working on the dream full time. In doing so a new industry segment inside of the multi-billion dollar industry was created while providing the best parties on wheels!
